Wheat Fibre Pulp 3-Compartment Plates 10"

These sturdy plates are made from the waste fibre from pulped straw, are fully compostable and suitable for all uses including hot, wet and oily foods.

Normally this material is burned as fuel but this process is very polluting and the power yield is relatively low, so a new use has been found for this waste material – lovely compostable disposable plates!

The plates are made by pressing the fibres at a very high heat, under great pressure so the result is a sturdy, rigid plate.
